This acquisition included Aerojet Rocketdyne, Inc.鈥檚 subsidiaries, one of which is Aerojet Rocketdyne of DE, Inc. ARDE, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aerojet Rocketdyne of DE, Inc.
At ARDE we are committed to delivering the most reliable product at the best value without sacrificing ours or our customer鈥檚 reputation. Our product line includes:
- All Metal Pressure Vessels
- Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessels
- Positive Expulsion Propellant Tanks
- Surface Tension Propellant Tanks
Our pressure vessel designs utilize a variety of metals such as Aluminum, Inconel, Stainless Steel and Titanium. The composite overwrap matrices use Carbon, Fiberglass, or Kevlar漏, with our proprietary Resin System 鈥 ARDE 31-43b.
We have many build to order designs available to suit your needs, all designs are qualified in accordance with AIAA-S-080, AIAA-S-081, and SSCMAN91-710.
Since our inception in 1952, ARDE has evolved from a provider of rocket nozzles for the Minuteman Program to an internationally recognized leader in engineered pressure vessels for spaceflight, launch, missile, and environmental control and life support system (ECLSS) systems. With over 70 years of incident-free service and more than 6,000 tanks produced, we continue to enable technological advancements in the space and defense industries.
Our in-house core competencies in our manufacturing technologies utilize dedicated work centers for:
- Gas Tungsten Arc Welding to joining fracture critical metal membranes from 0.015鈥 to 0.300鈥 in thickness,
- Metal to Composite/ Composite to Composite structural bonding,
- Radiographic/ Fluorescent Penetrant NDI with NASA Special level certification to .06t and (90/95) at 0.030鈥 respectively.
